Kate Cummings is a Partner at Equal Opportunity Ventures, focused on community building in support of new investments and the current portfolio.

Prior to joining EO, Kate was a Senior Fellow at the Burnes Center for Social Change, where she launched a shared services platform supporting state and local governments. She previously held operating roles at venture-backed technology companies and began her career as an organizer for Barack Obama. 

Kate earned her MBA from The Wharton School and her bachelor’s degree in Public Policy and Law from Trinity College in Hartford.
