The Alpha Fellowship backs future founders at the earliest possible moment, before a team or idea even exist. We provide capital and support from day zero.

Alpha is run by speedrun in partnership with EO Ventures. We're looking for highly technical students, dropouts, and recent grads who don't want to wait to start building.

Fellows receive up to $250K in investment, $1M+ in partner credits (cloud, AI, and software), and an eight-week, in-person fellowship in San Francisco starting in early January. Fellows also have access to both the speedrun and EO Ventures communities.

Programming runs throughout the fellowship: weekly small-group sessions and dinners with the engineers, operators, and members of the speedrun and EO Ventures investment teams shaping the next wave of AI.

Upcoming speakers and mentors include Marc Andreessen (Cofounder & General Partner, a16z), Roland Fryer (Founding GP, EO Ventures), Andrew Chen (General Partner, a16z), and Chris Best (Founder & CEO, Substack). Fellows are also invited to select speedrun events, where past speakers have included Sam Altman (Cofounder & CEO, Open AI) and Dylan Field (Cofounder & CEO, Figma).
